Awesome Autumn days!

Well, the weather has just been gorgeous lately.  Can’t believe we’ll be seeing rain and wind and cold soon :(   I had a wonderful shoot out in old Folsom today and it was downright HOT!

Here are some shots from last week — Sarah playing with a new pink parasol prop that I got, and Nick at the pumpkin patch getting his “ink” done.  We attended a fun birthday party out at the Silverbend Pumpkin Patch — the slideshow is below.  I took off my “pro” hat for this party and just grabbed my husband’s portable Canon Elph instead, so no artistic shots there.  Just a bunch of kids having fun! .

Schlenz Family Slideshow

Here is the finished slideshow for the Schlenz family session last Saturday.  There are quite a few more proofs than I normally show… I just couldn’t decide, so included them all!  Many thanks to the Schlenzes, the Nygaards and the Rexfords for allowing me to spend some time with their beautiful family!

Whole lotta lovin’ going on

I had the pleasure of meeting an awesome family on Saturday.  The patriarch and matriarch of this clan are Terry and Cindy, and we met at their beautiful home in Granite Bay for an extended family shoot.  With them are their daughters, Amy and Jodi, along with Amy’s family and Jodi’s husband.  Dory the dog was also underfoot, but unfortunately, I’m not a pet photographer and I couldn’t get her to hold still long enough to get in a pose :)   It was evident how much this family loves each other and I enjoyed watching them interact.

Amy, thanks for inviting me to meet your incredible family.  I’ll have the rest of your proofs to you soon!

The Smith Family

A bit overdue and I hope worth the wait!  Here is the slideshow from my session with the Smith Family a couple weeks ago.  Beautiful Brooke is my daughter’s friend from kindergarten last year.  Her big brother Callum is such a cutie, and of course, Mom Leigh is gorgeous.  She has the most adorable accent and I love listening to her talk.  We’ve had a lot of fun chatting while our kids play – McDonald’s probably cringes everytime we walk in the door!  Anyway, here is your slideshow Leigh – I hope you enjoy it.  Your family is simply stunning!

Little Miss M

Here is an overdue preview from my session with Miss M a couple of weeks ago.  Her mom was my Nick’s first grade teacher and was a positive and memorable influence on him during his first year at the school.  Nina – thank you for letting me play with your baby doll and I hope you enjoy these!
