Oh my what a beautiful little girl I had the pleasure of playing with on Saturday morning! Lyla is going to be a big sister in a couple of months and she is full of life and spunk and all things that make being a toddler FUN! Shannon and Matt – I hope wait for Charlie goes quickly and smoothly – and I cannot wait to meet the newest member of the family. What a brave little guy — we only managed to get a few shots in before he started protesting the cold, but before that, he was having great fun in his big wagon!

My sister-in-law Allie got engaged yesterday! My husband and I have known for a few days and it’s been killing me not to say anything. Michael was very old-fashioned and had asked Scott and his brothers for their blessing last week, and then drove down to southern California this weekend to pop the question! And despite the most un-Edwards-like trait of not liking Star Wars movies, we still love him and are looking forward to welcoming him to the family! Congratulations Allie and Michael. Love you!
